Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford was raised in Bloomsbury by her grandmother and mother. She suffered from an anxiety disorder based on words as a young toddler. Ford started to become attracted to acting as a teenager, and she joined the National Youth Theatre. Ford was accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. But after just a few days, she concluded that this school wasn't right for her. Ford was then able to apply for a spot for the Central School of Speech and Drama and was admitted on her fourth attempt. Shaun Dingwall - who later was the character Pete Tyler in Doctor Who - was one of Ford's classmates. Ford received her degree in 1993. However, prior to that, Ford made a television debut when she appeared in Surgical Spirit in an episode in 1991. Ford took the professional name Catherine Tate. Through the Nineties, Tate could be seen on television in programmes such as The Bill, Men Behaving Badly and London's Burning. Tate was also a regular performer in the theatre, and later joined in the Royal Shakespeare Company during its season 2000-2001. However, Tate was soon gaining recognition for her stand-up comedic performances that she incorporated into her repertoire in 1996.
