Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous hip-hop tracks that addressed sexual identity and race with a boldly comedic perspective before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. After a classical and jazz education, she delved into hip-hop in her teen years. In her schooling, she specialized in the field of journalism as well as women's studies.
